- Newton hated Barnabas & threatened him

- Knighted by Queen Anne of England in 1705
- Hence the name "Sir Isaac Newton"
- Inspired by Galileo, Rene Descartes, & Isaac Barrow (professor at Trinity College)

- Worked in "Royal Society" to improve natural knowledge
- Not very social in his work
- Became wealthy later in life
